Yesterday, I conducted a radio interview and after the interview, I realized that I’ve probably done hundreds of these over the years and I’ve shared hundreds of great ideas. Thinking back, I realized I probably heard an equal or greater number of ideas on the TV or on the radio. I’ve come to the conclusion that it is easier to learn than it is to apply. The difference between what we don’t know and what we do know is not near as great as the difference between what we know and what we do.
Ultimately, the greatest idea that you’ve ever heard is no good if you don’t do anything with it. So the question is, how do we take some of these great ideas that we’ve heard and put them to use in our life and in our business? This is what I call 30 days to success.
Take one idea and commit for the next month to apply that idea. Use it daily, weekly, for 30 days. What you’ll find after 30 days is you’ve probably mastered the concept. The other thing is, it has become part of your daily habits. By trying to incorporate too many ideas at one time, nothing gets done. Focus on one idea for 30 days. And at the end of the 30 days, pick a new idea to focus on for the next 30 days. Keep implementing the first one, add the second one in, and you will be on the road to success in your personal life and your business as well. Be accountable to implement ideas that can make a difference for you!
